二、英文简历的格式
英文简历的格式结构一般包括页眉部分、教育背景、工作经历和个人资料四部分。如果已经有全职工作了,一定把工作经历放在第二;如果您目前还是在校学生,应该把教育背景放在第二。
1、英文简历页眉部分
1)、求职人名字 对于求职人名字有很多种写法,不过采用国际通用的写法比较妥当,即“名在前姓在后”。譬如求职人的名字为杜军军,用“Junjun DU”就比用“Du Junjun”要好,这样也很方便招聘人员,尤其是人事部经理为中国人。另外,在平时中发现有少部分人国人采用外国人的姓,如Mary Smith,本人觉得非常不可取的。因为如果你用外国人的姓,别人

2、教育背景
1)、时间要倒序,最近的学历情况要放在最前面。
2)、学校名要大写并加粗,这样便于招聘者迅速识别您的学历。
3)、地名右对齐,全部大写并加粗。
4)、关于学历。如果正在学习,用Candidate for开头比较严谨;如果已经毕业,可以把学历名称放在最前。
5)、社会工作担任班干部,只写职务就可以了,不必写年月和工作详情。
6)、奖学金。 一般用一句话概括。如果有多个,也争取用一句话概括。但如果是学生简历,则可以多写一点。
7)、成绩。 如果不是前十名,建议不写。因为如果排在十名之外,感觉您不是一个优秀的学生。一旦写上,有些人会穷追不舍地猛问,让你尴尬。
3、工作经历
首先要再次强调一下,对于正在工作的人,Experience应写在Education的前面,而对于在校生Education则应放在Experience之前。写时间时应注意:
1)、目前的工作要最先写,左侧写时间,如写成1997-present。此外更要注意拼写,不要把“present”写成“president”,这种拼写错误要避免。
2)、以前的工作,只写年份,如1993-1995。这样的写法主要适于以下三种情况:一是工作时间较早;二是工作时间在两年以上;三是旨在巧妙地拉长工作时间。例如,如果您曾于1997年12月到1998年1月就职于某家公司,虽然只有短短两个月,但写成1997-1998就显得工作时间较长,同时也没撒谎。
